Canterbury District Networking meeting, Thursday 7th March

  • Red Zebra 124 Middle Wall Whitstable CT5 1BW United Kingdom (map)

Does your organisation work in the Canterbury district
and involve volunteers?

If so, we'd love you to come to our next networking meeting, which will take place on Thursday 7th March, from  10 am to 12 noon at Red Zebra's offices at
124 Middle Wall, Whitstable CT5 1BW.

We’ll be joined by Sara Bashford, a Regional Researcher who works for GCS Local (Government Communication Service) who are part of the Cabinet Office.
Sara explains:

“We are primarily a campaigns team, but my role is to understand the areas we cover and use local knowledge and insight to help ensure Government messages feel local and relevant. I do this by talking to local organisations about what matters most to them. I don’t come with a specific agenda, but often subjects such as mental health, the NHS and Brexit come up. However, the local more specific issues are also of interest to me, as they help define the place.”

This will be a great opportunity to give your views on various things the Government is doing. There will also be time to network with other volunteer-involving organisations and tell us about your organisation and any news, developments or events you have coming up.

The meeting is free to attend but space is limited so if you'd like to take part, please book your place by emailing volunteering@redzebra.org.uk

We look forward to seeing you.
