Help and support for organisations

If your organisation operates in the Canterbury district and relies on or would benefit from volunteer involvement, we can offer help with volunteer recruitment free of charge as part of our Volunteering Services, funded by Canterbury City Council - scroll down for details.

We offer a range of other one-to-one and small group support services to voluntary and community organisations and social enterprise (VCSEs) across Kent and Medway, on a paid-for consultancy basis.

Our team can offer information and support around a wide range of capacity building and business development topics. We work with a number of independent specialists and will support you to access the expertise necessary to meet your needs.

Our current fees (July 2018):

We understand that groups that are starting out and / or have low incomes can find it difficult to afford the development support they need, so our fee structure aims to make these services accessible to as many groups as possible:

VCSE organisations:

Annual income under £25k / new groups starting up: £20 per hour

Annual income £25k - £50k:  £25 per hour

Annual income £50k – 100k: £35 per hour

Annual income over £100k – contact us to discuss your requirements

Public sector organisations:

£500 per day
